Welcome to École George Pringle Elementary!
I would like to acknowledge that École George Pringle is on the traditional, unceded territory of the Syilx (Okanagan) People.
Our committed and passionate staff works everyday to create an environment that is inclusive and caring for every student. We work closely with families and the community to ensure that, collaboratively, we are helping to develop our children.
Our Parent Advisory Council is another essential part of our learning community. They meet monthly to organize special events and fundraisers, and to support ongoing school initiatives such as movie nights, dances, Air Band and Spring Fair. These efforts provide numerous activities and resources for the school and allow us to offer various programs that go beyond our Redesigned Curriculum; additionally, we have volunteers who contribute their time and energy to support student learning through activities such as reading One-to-One or small group and assisting with classroom activities.
As mentioned previously, École George Pringle helps develop the whole child; we have Early Learning programs such as StrongStart and Petit Hibou on site that supports pre-school students and their families. After school programs are also woven into our school culture. We have Indigenous Clubs, Okanagan Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA Beyond the Bell programs working closely with the school to provide care afterschool.
We welcome everyone into our Pride family to become a confident part of our diverse learning community.
